The child should be punished for his actions. The teacher is NOT at fault here.

The student that stole the phone and pick should be punished not the teacher

What I see is a blatant invasion of privacy. No one should expect someone else to go through their phone even if it is left accessible.

School administrators appear to have their own problems with sex.

This was -not- a mistake on Mrs. Arthur's part. Teachers are human too and are entitled to the same privacy rights as the rest of us, including the right to take nudes, if they so desire. The child used her device without her permission and this should most definitely qualify as revenge porn. We will not let them win.

Completely inexcusable on the part of the individual student and more so on the part of the institution. Hope to see this issue gets resolved justly.

I see no reason as to why the teacher was punished for someone else's mistake, I do believe the student should be punished cordially more so to prove a point that this is not OK. Best of luck.

Absolute void of logic in this decision. This is a disgrace to human intelligence and reason and should be relegated to an urban legend category of Snopes.com

Best wishes to Ms. Aarthur. I support her fully. School districts shoot first and ask questions later. They are in the wrong. She needs a good lawyer!
