This is disturbing that a teacher has no rights to her privacy. Shame on the school for dismissing her while appearing to condone the acts of a despicable juvenile.

Sexism in its purest form. That student should be expelled. This is everything that is wrong with society. She is lucky she is not of another skin color or they would have strung her up. Not that I expect much else from this state.

Rediculous that the student, who was in full control of his actions, and knowingly and maliciously distributed private photos of his teacher after deliberately stealing her phone in order to do so, will not be punished. And that the teacher is facing punishment? Absolutely absurd.

As a parent and Teacher, i would have held the responsible for invasion of privacy. Firing the teacher is ignorant and excuses student behavior.

Do not punish a teacher for her private materials. What message does this send to the students!

Read about this on Twitter. It is a travesty that this teacher was fired for having her privacy invaded. She should be reinstated.

It was an easy decision to fire Mrs. Arthur. But easy is seldom correct. It is just easy.

It's so stupid that she is getting punished for something a student did. The kids STOLE her phone, which is kind of illegal... and then poster a nude pictures of her, which is also illegal. The student should know better than to do either of those things. Posting the picture could be seen as sexual harassment. It is not the teachers fault that the kid stole her phone and it is not her fault her pictures got leaked. Her student clearly had no respect for her privacy, or any morals. He should be punished, not her.

You know, it doesn't matter that he's supposedly expressing "sincere remorse" for his actions. He told her, "your day of reckoning is coming." That's sinister. He deserves what he's getting.

I believe that student was wrong for getting into her private business and the school was wrong for making her resign and letting the student get away with "stealing"her private, personal information. This leaves the door open for other students to get in to other teachers private info because they know that nothing will happen to them.
