If you were in this position, think about how you'd be affected. How does someone continue after they're fired? Her career and name are ruined. Give her her job back!

Support from Richmond Texas. The school boards position is ridiculous. The superintendent should lose his job. The teacher should file criminal charges against the student.

This is completely unfair, the picture was sent to her own husband and the student committed theft which is against the law and invaded her privacy, she deserves to keep her job however she is better off in a school where students are more respectful and won't invade others privacy through theft.

Why should the teacher be punished for her student's actions? She should be rehired and the student should be expelled.

Bring her back and give that student the disciplinary action he deserves.

That kid invaded the teacher's privacy and she's the one who was punished? That's completely unethical.

Student accountability. Momentary theft and invasion of privacy should not be reinforced. Students are not animals, they know what is right and wrong. I was a high school student I knew this would be wrong. The school was never on the lips or minds of most people but now your only lasting legacy is poor judgment and reinforcing criminal activity. Fix it.

I grew up in Spartanburg and went to Dorman. Is there a side to the story we don't know? If not, I think the teachers should boycott class in protest of such a ludicrous decision on the part of administration.

Mrs. Arthur has the right to privacy! She also has the right to not have her privacy and her phone be stolen illegally! Set an example by restoring her job to her and expelling the little bastard who stole from her in the first place!

It is downright outrageous what has happened here. Hopefully matters get resolved fairly for the teacher; and hopefully the student receives the punishment he deserves.
Very unfortunate.
BRING BACK THIS TEACHER
Outrageous.
