I'm still trying to figure out what she did other than being a victim of theft/revenge porn.

Please give this teacher back her job and punish the STUDENT, who is obviously in need of a lesson to not touch things that don't belong to him/her.

I'm a mother first, but with these kind of behaviors going on in our schools from adults as well as the students/children that's being taught is unacceptable. However I believe that we as parents have a responsibility to be a guiding force in the lives of our children in every way possible. which lead me to say our children aren't just ours, they belong to the entire school system and we need to insure every child that we all value, care for them, and love them. This is the way to help them, not giving up on them, so I agree with Mrs. Arthur when she says that this young child is forgiven. Yes, forgiven. Doesn't mean the child won't have consequences not anything harsh only to teach better behavior mechanism. As for Mrs. Arthur she has done no wrong only to be subjected to humiliation from posting of pictures that was private for her and her husband. Mrs. Arthur rights in my opinion have been violated and should be reinstated.

Good luck. I hope the best. This superintendent sure seems like a jerk, who has taken power to his head.

For all we know, 'using the teacher's phone with full permission' could have easily been a student asking her to call their parents, or someone for a ride home --a decent thing to do for another person when they need help. More info is needed on what Exactly they were allowed to do before ANY judgement can be made. Give Mrs. Arthur her job back with a formal apology, and a raise in pay.

The teacher is complitely inocent; she is the only victim in this case. That student should be arrested, charged and for stilling private property, for missconduct, for violating a person's privacy, and for posting online, damaging a person's (and an entire family, even future family) reputation. This student is a monster and should pay for the damage he made. If you go to the bank and the banker walks away for whaterver reason, you will not be inocent and blame the banker if you dicide to still the money from the bank. So, this teacher is a victim, not gilty at all.

It's outrageous for the superintendent of this school to have called the petition "insignificant." You can be certain I won't be sending my child anywhere near this school district. The superintendent has a terrifyingly visible poor sense of judgement. I hope he is replaced soon and that this issue is settled.

An injustice & un-necessary disruption to students who do want to learn, shes clearly good at her job having been there for 13 years. SI should back down now otherwise its going to reflect a hell of a lot worse on him when he inevitably does so later....

It's a pity the innocent should be punished. The student must be reprimanded and disciplined accordingly. And the superintendent should reconsider his action. God bless Mrs Arthur.
