Unacceptable breach of privacy leading to a shameful resignation. Good luck to Mrs. Arthur!

She has done nothing wrong! We need educators to bring our children into the world prepared! A teacher is a person too valuable to be dismissed for something as trivial as this!

The teacher doesn't deserve to be punished for a theft occured by a student.

This is just horrible, and why children today are looked at so poorly.

It's ridiculous that she was fired, if she has a private life then it is her's. I'm up in OH, and my teachers at Massie are the best, I couldn't imagine ONE getting fired.

This shouldn't even be a thing. The student was in the wrong here.

This is injustice in every way. Give her job back to her and update your draconian minds.

I stand with these students who want to see their teacher treated correctly and fairly.

This is outrageous. The teacher is a victim whose privacy has been invaded. Do not blame the victim.

What a load of bs. Punish your terrible students. Not your teachers.

This is sexual harrassment and a huge invasion of privacy. This teacher should not have been discharged. Teachers are too often discharged due to matters of their private live. She did not show poor judgement in taking the photo, there is nothing wrong with taking private photos and no one deserves to have their life ruined over them. The student distributing them should be moved to a different class and required to take a seminar on sexual harassment, and the teacher should be reinstated.
