I'm sorry that the school did not support this professional or hold the student(s) accountable for their actions.

We already have too few good teachers. It's outrages to think that we'll loose another one through no fault of her own. Where is the student accountability? Shame on you Superintendent David Eubanks,

Unfortunately, not unbelievable. The administration is in the wrong even more than the student, who is unfortunately of the age of stupid, with inability to understand impulse and consequence fully. I have hope that the student may mature, and under the circumstances, hopefully regrets their actions already. The administration is what's wrong with our country across the board: sanctimonious self-serving judgemental externaly enforced morality of idiots.

Absolutely ridiculous that she was fired over this. Shame on the people in control of this decision.

This teacher should be reinstated immediately. This was a clear invasion of her privacy.

Hold the student responsible. He's 16: he made a plan, and carried it out. He's not an infant who pressed the wrong buttons unknowingly.

This is unacceptable to punish the victim and blame the victim. The student(s) that stole her personal property and then spread what was on her personal phone without permission is nothing short of theft and sexual harassment, at the very least. The teacher did nothing wrong while those responsible for the theft and spreading of personal content are 100% at fault for the choices they made and actions used to complete those choices. Shame on the school for attempting to blame the victim!

A teacher has made such a different with her students that they are standing up and asking for her back. This is sad. I hope she gets he job back. Just ridiculous.

The absolute stupidity of this whole thing has me a bit riled up. I would ask that the administrators that decided the teacher should be fired for the invasion of her privacy remove their heads from their colons and then get a healthy dose of common sense. Also, how is that student getting off scott free?

This is setting a terrible precedent for the confiscation of private property to be used against a person, as well as justification of stealing and infringing on the private life not only of someone in a professional environment, but also a person in a place of authority. This is ridiculous.

Having your privacy breached should never be a punishable offense.
