She should get reinstated, quit, and sue. Sixteen knew it was wrong, and proved that with the "reckoning" comment. For goodness sake, when will student's be held accountable? Eventually, teachers will dwindle away. Infact, our daughter is going to school to become a Special Ed teacher. I think I'll have a talk with her about changing careers, because this one is not doing right by the teachers in ANY situation.

Punish the right person here. Leigh Anne Arthur did nothing wrong. Have some integrity and make the right choice.

David Eubanks should be the one being fired. That his twisted logic can make the victim of a crime into a guilt logic shows his lack of character. This is an appalling situation, and an embarrasment for all involved.

So if she went to the bathroom and the stole money from her purse, are we to blame the teacher? We need to teach that if it isn't yours, do not teach it. Other people are not entitle to touch your properly simply because that property is out of site.

Ms. Arthur should not have been let go for her phone being stolen. This is a case of theft and invasion of privacy. She did not publicly post those pics the thief did, sexting your spouse privately is not anyone else's business but theirs. The school should review it's rules and student code of conduct and discipline the thief/student and reinstate Ms. Arthur.

Hold your students responsible for their actions. Your job is to prepare them for the real world. In the real world, this student committed a crime. He should be punished. His educator is the victim

Expel or severely discipline the student and reinstate the teacher. Absolutely no reason why stolen information from someone's personal device should be in question here. It's an absolute invasion of privacy and complete failure on the school board.

The student should be responsible, he was old enough to do that, he's old enough to know what he did was wrong.

This is ridiculous. The teacher was the victim. She should be reinstated and the student should be expelled.
