I am 65 years old. This forced "resignation" is wrong and should immediately be reversed.

This is ridiculous. Rehire the teacher, punish the kid. Fools.

The student should be charged with a crime, which is what he committed. The teacher was the victim.

Expel the student, reprimand the acting super, give her her job back and a lump sum as compensation!

Way to go fellas! Teach kids they can get away with anything. This kid will end up in a bad place if he is not punished accordingly. This shows he has no respect for women and this is coming from me, a guy!!! A 16 year old is old enough to understand this.

You don't fire someone when their private information is stolen. You punish the thief.

What a ridiculous decision by the district! This woman's privacy was violated and she gets fired for it? You should be ashamed! Bring her back!

She is a person first and awarded personal privacy as we all are legally. Disgraceful that nothing happened to this student.

That kid needs to be punished, this woman deserves her job back, and a HUGE apology! How backwards for the school to make her feel like she somehow did something wrong!

Why exactly a teacher is being fired for having a picture of herself on her own phone is a mystery to me. I have been teaching for 37 years, and I certainly know of teachers forced to resign for cause. This should not be one of them.

The school is completely in the wrong. The teacher's phone is her private property. It was stolen, Her privacy was violated. The student should be punished. How would the principal like it if I took his/her phone and leaked all his emails that may or may not contain R-rated content, then the PRINCIPAL ends up the one being fired?
Idiots...
