The students are the ones who should be suspended. Taking nude photographs, while maybe deemed innapropiate, is not illegal like theft.

I back Leigh Ann Arthur, as far as getting her job back. This is a miscarriage of justice! She is lovely, and has the right to topless photos of herself, on her phone.
I had teachers at L..I. who did far worse , using students to advance new careers and used me for their entertainment. Bring back Mrs. Arthur!

It is my firm belief that the actions of the school board in the release of this teacher is Inexcusable! She is a victim of double standards & the hypocrisy within the PC Society we now live in.

Teachers do not forfeit their right to privacy when they walk into work. This school has failed to protect her and has caused her shame for their shortcomings,allowing her to be the victim of a hate crime, targetted for her gender.

I think it's disgraceful how the school handled this. Whomever stole the phone should be arrested and Mrs. Arthur should be given her job back or she should sue the school.

Theft and dissemination of private photos are crimes. The student must be held accountable. This was a deliberate attack and cannot be overlooked.

Allowing students to use her phone is one thing, stealing personal photos is a completely different issue. The superintendent should resign for trying to cover up the fact that no type of investigation was done before.

As both a teacher AND former administrator (both a V.P and Principal) with 23 years in this field, I have to say that what this district did to Ms. Arthur is unconscionable. They did not follow due process, provide through investigation, hear her side of the story. She has a case. I cannot see how she can lose. Her rights were violated. If I were her, I wouldn't want to work in a district like that and would be looking for a place that has some moral conscience. There are places like that out there! You go get 'em!
