This is completely and totally unfair. She deserves her job.

She is the victim of theft and a sex crime (distributing nude photos without consent). She's not guilty of anything.

This dismissal must be reversed; any other outcome is both immoral, improper, and a dereliction of common sense.

She's given 13 years of her life to this school, and how they are repaying it is outrageous!

Grow up. You people are way too sensitive over non-sense.

This woman is a victim and the school administrators have further victimized her.

She should not be held accountable for the invasion of personal privacy by a student with the intent of invading her privacy. Also really trying hard not to rant on the student. Would love to know his name.

This superintendent has shown an incredible lack of respect for this teacher, whose privacy was violated through no fault of her own. She should be offered her job back and the student responsible punished.

Incredibly poorly handled situation. She should be reinstated and officially apologised to by everyone involved - even if she were "routinely" allowing students to use her phone, which seems unlikely given the statements, that's not the same as accessing personal photographs. A complete nonsense.

This is terrible. No wonder kids behave the way they do. This poor woman. No way should she be reprimanded .

This is a disgrace on the schools part for not protecting the privacy of the teacher and as far as distributing is total bull. If i have sonething in my phone or purse etc. for example if someome steals medications out of my things I did not give or contribute so it is no different. We live in a tech world now and phones are private so the school needs to get their heads out of their asses and do whats right.

The fact this woman doesn't have her job back yet is asinine.

No consequences for him and she is forced to resign? That's not justice.

It's not her fault. We are all human beings. To the board who forced the teacher to resign I have a question. Don't you have your wife, sisters in the family. How could you take this step to force her to resign.

The supt. is completely wrong as the only crime was the student stealing private property. The school district is looking at the potential of litigation for wrongful termination. Once again proving a penny wise pound foolish approach to a problem. The student should have been expelled and the teacher only needed a tutorial on locking her phone whilst at work.
