Let me ask you this Dr. Eubanks: If I go into your office, grab a couple 20s out of your wallet and then go have a ball, is that your fault for leaving your wallet open and unattended (in your private office)?

She deserves her job back. The individual does deserve to be punished even though that is not the intention of this petition. The student not only invaded her privacy but also distributed her photo in a hateful manner. Im pretty sure that classifies as revenge porn. This whole mess was the student's fault the moment they took her phone.
Bring her back! She does not deserve this situation! Nor does she deserve to be blamed for it!

After all she is only human and complacency has crept in, which can be adjusted accordingly. If her teaching skills are beyond revoke then reinstating her would be a credible action for the school head to take. After all great teachers are an asset that if you lose everyone loses.

Making this teacher resign is absolutely ridiculous!!!
Her phone is private property, not property of the school...Meaning the school should have no authority to do what they did to her.
She is the victim here and should not be punished for this. It's my understanding that the student that made her photos public also completely regrets what he has done.
As a former teacher I understand how the system works and having her resign will be making her the "black sheep" of the teaching community... Making it virtually impossible for her to obtain the same type of position in her home state, or even farther.
Don't punish her by taking her career away when she did nothing wrong-- reinstate!!!
