This incident should be looked at by persons higher than those at the board level. This is just one more morally horrific incident where this generation of students bully without consequences or fear of school board interference. He threatened her, knowing full well he wouldn't be held accountable by administration. His confidence in bullying his teacher was fully supported by his school board.

"evidence indicates that students routinely used the teacher’s cell phone with full her permission", so Mr. Eubanks does that mean if a woman has sexual encounters with a few people she MUST allow others to engage in those acts with her without her permission?

I am also a teacher. We need to feel safe in our own classrooms. We need to know that the administration will not participate in blaming victims of theft, violation of privacy, and sexual harassment. Mrs. Arthur's situation is absolutely unacceptable because she did nothing illegal or untoward.

Regardless of whether or not the phone was ever used in class, this student knew it was wrong to share nude pictures. This is a classic case of saying "well, she was regularly wearing this, so she must have wanted it". Come on, now. How Eubanks can think to even blame the teacher is ridiculous.

I am sorry to see that Dr. Eubanks believes in punishing victims of sexual humiliation, and is teaching children that they are not responsible for their actions.
The student who did this committed an assault against the character and privacy of another human being. You, Dr. Eubanks, are complicit in that assault.
