Student should be disciplined. Ridiculous. Private property should not be touched without permission.

This is ridiculous. I cannot believe you would let a teacher go for something so relatively inconsequential.

Whether the teachers's phone was locked or unlocked is not the question, nobody has the right to go through someone's phone without permission. The boy was clearly in the wrong. Please re-instate her - she has done nothing wrong.

I support this because regardless if students were allowed to use a phone, the stealing and posting of photos is a blatantly illegal.

There are not enough good school teachers as it is .This teacher did not advertise the photo although I do not totally agree with her ,her property privacy was stolen. And if she is fired then I hope nobody else feels exempt from being fired from their job for other reasons .Very bad decision to fire this woman I pity the people that made this call.Fail F"

You Sir represent everything which is wrong with school administration and why fellow educators are leaving the profession in droves. The crime here is theft. Make the student and the students parents take some responsibility for their actions.

Please Superintendent David Eubanks bring back Mrs Arthur. It would be a terrible loss to the other students and the community to lose a valuable member of staff based on a momentary lapse of judgement. I hope you will use your own excellent judgment and compassion to to rise above and reconsider your decision in this delicate matter and reinstate Mrs Arthur.
Your kindness and generosity will show the World what makes USA a Great Country and Democracy.
best wishes and kind regards

This was NOT the teacher's fault! Her phone was STOLEN! By firing her and taking no action towards the student, is saying that theft is ok, as long as you're stealing from a teacher. And that sharing said teacher's PRIVATE info, is fine because the teacher isn't allowed to have a private life and private pictures and info on her phone.
This is absolutely ridiculous. I hope she takes action against the school and the student for all of this.

Teachers are being asked to treat their students with respect so this should go both ways.

The superintendent may want to look at what this says to students. It goes all the way back to lessons and tenets of our constitutions forth amendment and moral precepts in which our great country was founded. Teachings this teachers superiors have apparently forgotten and are sorely in need of instruction.
