this is not fair .the boy should be punished beacause if system will not teach him a lesson then other student will not scared to do this kind of stupidity with other people.they will think they can do anything .this is not a good example for others .i support this teacher .she is innocent .she have all rights to do anything with her phone but student should be prohibited to touch stuff of teachers and the other studnts ..

Support from England. Horrendous that a personal item is allowed to be stolen, personal and private pictures replicated and posted on net, with the victim being dismissed. Can I ask if the students have taken it upon themselves to not attend school until this is resolved? If the mysoginistic Mr Eubanks feels a petition is insignificant then maybe school attendance might have more of an impact. Either way, God bless to you all.

The student is responsible for his actions not the teacher who is the victim of an attack on privacy!

What the student did was extremely inappropriate and should infact be punished and not the teacher who has a right to privacy which has been violated

I think this story is absolutely disgusting. Not only was she violated, the student is a thief. Why is he not punished for stealing

Very poor judgement to punish this teacher for something that WAS appropriate for the intended audience (not this teen). Her phone is her private property, along with her photos. A vengeful action of a student should not result in exoneration of the student and the ending of a career for the victim, who's phone was STOLEN. This outcome should be reversed, and it is disconcerting that this student is stealing, hacking, sharing private information, and threatening this teacher! By those standards, if someone hacked into YOUR phone, would they find nothing inappropriate for a high school kid? I know they would on mine. Pls reconsider this ridiculously unjust decision.

Irresponsible, old fashioned and immoral! Give this professional her job back. Where is your self respect school management? In the end management is responsible for creating and tolerating a culture that allows students to get away with immoral behavior.

This is not justice for the students this is an injustice to the teacher. The student is in the wrong and violated her privacy rights, why is she being punished? Disgraceful!!
