The boy should be charged and the teacher should have her job back as no one has the right to go through someone's phone without permission

It is the height of absurdity that this woman's private pictures were stolen and distributed by the student, yet it was she who was disciplined for it. If I was her lawyer, I'd be gunning for some serious litigation and a huge settlement over this absolute debacle.

Don't give up hope of her being reinstated. That's what this is for. Show HER, the teacher, she can retract her resignation! They would then have to either let her come back, or fire her & compensate her for unfair dismissal!

It wasn't her fault that her phone was stolen. It's not like she intended it to happen.

What an absolute disgrace. A complete violation of her privacy. If this was in the UK the youth would be prosecuted and the teacher supported...

Absolutely disgraceful. She's an innocent victim who should be reinstated and the student should be punished for his actions.

Even if permission was given in the past to use the phone, she stated she left it on the table and no permission was given!! This is rediculous and the student needs to be punished for his actions.

To lose a good teacher over a students appauling behaviour for which he currently faces no consequence? Crazy!
Disgraceful !! Throw the book at the 16 year old.
