The boy needs to be held accountable. Why are we sending out the message to kids that it's ok to do this?

Get a grip! She is the victim here! Call yourself a forward thinking country! Would not happen here in Scotland.

If a student took a picture over a bathroom stall would that also be allowable for the student a fire-able for the teacher? In both situations it would be possible for the student to do, but both are an invasion of privacy.

The lady in question is the victim of a crime, she she be considered as such. (I hope she finds a resolution which leads to her ultimate happiness)

Wasn't her fault, he's old enough to be responsible.

In the UK she would not have been forced to leave her job. Teachers shoukd be protected.

Absolutely ridiculous! Not the teachers fault. But she will never feel the same working again after this!

How abhorrent. The teacher has done absolutely nothing wrong here. She is a victim and is being punished further. Utterly ridiculous.

This is silly. Re-instate the teacher, it is not her fault if her personal property is stolen. Would you fire her if she left her window open at home and was burgled? Re-instate her.

The student should be suspended for theft of nothing else, teacher should reinstated with a full apology

Everyone's privacy must be respected. A teachers personal belongings that have been stolen by a pupil, regardless if it is an image, should be punished immediately otherwise respect can not be taught.

Disgraceful, it wasn't his phone to look at, and only her photo to share!

Not being in the country does not stop me from seeing this poor teacher being persecuted rather than supported by her superiors. Sad reflection on those people who are supposedly in charge of teaching our children that they damn the good ones and glorify the bad.

Punish the child not the teacher !!
