The boy should be disciplined for snooping around with someone's privacy and human rights. Also David Eubanks needs to get a grip!!

Disgusting decision. If the facts stated are true it is completely irrational to punish the teacher. Also.... We are all naked under our clothes!!! It's not that big a deal

Invasion of privacy by a young and immature young student should not destroy a teacher's career

This school district is so wrong and I would not hesitate too remove my child from it immediately. You are teaching children not to expect punishment for their actions and telling a grown woman she has no personal rights because she is one of your teachers. ...makes no sense. What a horrid useless school district. You are what is wrong with this world. Sincerely, from California - S. Howard

When I was in school I had legitimately abusive teachers who were protected by tenure from losing their jobs. It's a shame to see a good one get fired when we all know it's not her fault.

Even if she won't accept her job back, it is a matter of justice and fairness that this matter is corrected by the schoolboard.

This teacher should be reinstated immediately! And appropriate action taken against the student and the head for having a dismissive attitude.

It is a shame the Teacher's Union in this district has not done more to stop this. Fortunately she has some amazing students.

In my school days, I would not have dared access a teachers private property. What has happened to pupil discipline?

The kid should be accounted for his action not the teacher.

This teacher is the victim of a sexual abuse crime. Would she be fired/asked to resign for being "out of the classroom" for four minutes if she had been assaulted or raped ?during that time? It is an absolute shame that the students, as of the recent news article, had not been punished by the school.
