She hasn't left her phone on purpouse so that the boy can steal and distribute her nude photos. Rather, she deserve an offical applogy from the boy. She should get back to her job as soon as possible. Students should be liable to their actions to some extent. Everything shall not be balmed on her.

Mr Eubanks supports criminal theft. If Mrs Arthur had left her handbag in the classroom and the student had taken things from there Mr Eubanks would say it is her own fault. Let Mrs Arthur set an example to her students, especially the female ones, let her show courage in adversity where Mr Eubanks demonstrates cowardice.

It's shameful that this teacher has been victimized by her employer. She is the victim. When did it become ok to strip teachers of their basic rights and treat them as non-human? Shame on you, Union County. Shame.

The student violated the privacy of the teacher and should be punished, not the teacher.

If you leave your door unlocked, is it ok for someone to come in to your house and steal your stuff? Of course not! And what is inappropriate about even semi-naked pictures. They were private material that was STOLEN.

The student needs to be disciplined. The teacher has done nothing wrong. She is a victim of theft and some kind of sex crime by this boy. An offender of the future with clearly no regard for women or authority.

This is disgusting and I am completely outraged beyond all recognition. The boy should be severely disciplined; if he had gone in someone's bag and distributed the contents it would be seen as theft, so what difference is there if the possession distributed is a photo?! The photo is personal property and it has been stolen. The boy has committed theft. The teacher has the right to her privacy and not to have her possessions rooted through.

Ok, the Kid has made a big mistake, he will learn from it hopefully. After all, he is still a kid. However, the teacher has done absolutely nothing wrong here. This David Eubanks sounds like a bit of a muppet! Madness, reinstate the teacher.

If she wants her job back then she should have it. She should have never been asked to leave over something that was not her fault. She deserves her job and much more in my opinion.

This is madness, she needs to be given her job back asap, with an apology from anyone who has caused her stress, including the Student.

Are you kidding me? The teacher is the victim of theft and SHE gets punished? You should be paraded through the streets naked while a nun walks behind you ringing a bell saying "SHAME."

Union County should support its teachers and discipline students appropriately.

As a teacher in the UK, I am so sick of not having the support of those above us. Young people need to learn early on that they are accountable for their actions!

Hope the kid gets expelled. We wouldn't have even thought of touching anything on a teachers desk when they left the room , let alone do that. We would have gotten in trouble way worse at home once parents found out. Come on school....how about you back the teacher up in this case? She is obviously very well liked. What she has on her phone is HER business.
