Absurd. She is not at fault. Hold the youth responsible. Her privacy was invaded which she has a right to. The victim-blaming needs to stop.

There are so few good teachers. This is a teaching moment, not about what Mrs. Arthur does on her off time, but the importance of privacy and what can happen when that right is abrogated. Bring this teacher back with full apology,

Mr. Eubanks seriously erred in firing Mrs. Arthur. The student stole her phone & should be prosecuted. Mrs. Arthur should be back on the job Monday. And an investigation should begin on who put the threatening note in her mailbox!

How is it possible that a pupil steals a photo from a teacher's phone and the teacher is punished. Women should not be subjected to this sort of demeaning behavior! Shame on you David Eubanks - it is you who should be under investigation.

This sort of cowardice in administration is caused by fear of the prudes in these communities. God forbid they realize that teachers can have their own sexuality and that as soon as this student started looking through her photos he was in violation of her privacy. These administrators are the reason behind the systemic mediocrity that surrounds the American education system.

What this student did amounts to theft and harassment: this teacher should not be held responsible for the students actions.

A woman's sexuality in her private time is of no consequence to her job. I don't understand why it was reasonable to let her go. Punish this student not the teacher.

I find it incredible that this teacher has lost her job as a pupil stole the dta on her phone, the principal should be the person to lose his job as he has been responsable for distributing false information about her

I'm in Austria at the moment and getting one's kit off in public saunas etc is absolutely the norm -so people are quite relaxed about nakedness and see no shame in it. They're a far healthier nation for it. Utterly bonkers that this woman, whose privacy was invaded, was, clearly, forced to resign. The school's Management should be fired. They wouldn't last five seconds in Austria!! Dummy of a young lad who disseminated the image but, he's just a kid and we've all done silly stuff as kids so he shouldn't be put to the sword either.

This is wrong on every level. That student should be expelled and charges filed against him for privacy reasons. The teacher should never have been punished and should be reinstated.

This is a violation of privacy by means of dishonest copying, appropriation, reproduction and publishing of a private image without authority and with intent to cause emotional injury.
The teacher is the victim of an offence or offences. Reinstate the teacher, throw the book at the pupil.

Re-hire the teacher, suspend the student. That's the only logical course of Christian action.

We wonder why our young people don't take responsibility for anything. "Educators" like Mr. Eubanks are failing our students.

It sounds like David Eubanks would fit in well with the European Union loonies we have to put up with.
