Give Leigh Anne Arthur her job back! Mr. Eubanks should be the one losing his job for failing to support a staff member who has been horribly mistreated.

I stand behind Mrs. Arthur and the school system as well as the superintendent should be ashamed of themselves.

It's time to vilifying individuals who enjoy having happy, healthy sex lives. Should her phone have been locked, yes. Should the student be charged, probably.

This is a form of bullying and the student should be punished. The teacher should hold her head high! She did nothing wrong!!

I see nothing in the actions of Mrs Arthur which would justify any action against her. If she is a good teacher, she must be reinstated. I am tired of teenagers being excused for everything they do, on the basis that they are "children". The job of a teacher is extremely difficult, and good teachers are very much needed in our classrooms.

The thing about teenagers is that they don't have perspective. This makes a lot of their decisions seem stupid in hindsight when reviewed by folks who have to deal with the repercussions of their actions. Give this lady her job back and make sure she locks her phone. Don't give students a loophole / leverage that can be exploited to dismiss teachers and potentially sidetrack careers.

Accountability for theft and invasion of privacy.

I see beautiful photos that although intended to be personal, were done tastefully, without vulgarity and with intentions of selfless love and honesty. Why is it that hypocrites see beauty like this as vulgar, but more revealing images (such as seen in " religious" images) as beautiful?

She is no criminal. She shouldn't have been allowed to resign. The school board should all be forced out!

This is a case of a breach of privacy upon the teacher's private property. It is inappropriate and unfair for the teacher to lose her job over this. Imagine if someone broke into the teacher's house, stole naked photos of her, then distributed them to the class members. That would be considered a crime & I highly doubt the teacher would lose her job for that. Why then, in practically the same circumstances, is she subjected to disciplinary action for this theft & invasion of her privacy? Absolutely pathetic of the school & education system for allowing this travesty.

The suspension of reason is not a good example for the young minds who are the future of our country. Boy was wrong. Discipline him appropriately (not by kicking him out of school!), reinstate the teacher.

Termination of this teacher is a massive over correction in this instance. Mr. Superintendent, you work for the people in your community and they are demanding that you reinstate this teacher. Listen to them. As for the students, kudos for the classy way in which you're conducting yourselves. Keep fighting the good fight and don't give up until this matter is resolved to your satisfaction. This is your school too!

I don't think it's fair to put the blame on the teacher. The student stole her phone and distributed her personal pics. These children need to learn. The life of crime seems to be starting early. That's not only theft. It's an invasion of privacy and these students need to be punished. Not the victim of the crime. The teacher Did nothing wrong

It is a very photo private between her and her husband. The boy had no right to look at her phone. Give her job back and punish the boy.
