Blaming the victim? She didn't do anything wrong. Why isn't the student being punished?

Punish the student who violated her privacy, not the victim!

Whoever ultimately made the decision to fire this teacher is disgusting. This was a blatant attack on privacy. This wasn't a 6 year old who hit too many buttons. This was a fully cognitive human being who understood exactly what they were doing. This woman should never be punished for having pictures on her phone, ESPECIALLY ONES FOR HER HUSBAND. This is similar to saying a woman asked to be sexually assaulted because of the way she dresses. Shame.

This student is an idiot and should be held responsible for his actions. The teacher did nothing wrong and shouldn't be made to feel as if she has.

Bring Back Mrs. Arthur. She is entitled to her free rights in America! We live in a free county that allows privacy & freedom of speech! Even if this kid used her phone he had no right to access her private picture's, take picture's of her private pictures & then distribute them! We are entitled to privacy on our private phone's! HELL THEY WON'T EVEN UNLOCK THE TERRORIST PHONES BECAUSE OF PRIVACY REASON'S! She has a right to her phone no matter where she goes & she has the right to say or do what she want's on her private phone! That kid violated her privacy & that is trespassing & can be considered the something as the hotel trial going on right now! This kid should be supended, & his parent's sued for ruining her career, livelyhood & her character! This kid should get community service, be put on probation & be fined & expelled from school. He should be held responsible & accountable b4 he turns into a real criminal. These schools are crossing the line with their authority enforcement on private lives & taking job's away for what is done in private or public off work time when we live in a free country & are entitled to freedom of speech especially when we are not working! We are not just employee's, we are free human American Citizen's! We don't live in a Dictatorship Country! PUNISH THIS KID & BRING BACK MRS. ARTHUR!

Shame on the Union County School District Superintendent David Eubanks. The students had a better sense of right and wrong. Mrs. Arthur had a picture of HERSELF in the nude, on her own private phone. Criminal behavior was demonstrated by the snooping student.

Let's punish the victim by firing them! Women are treated unfairly in every walk of life, we need to stop making women afraid to stand up for themselves, and everyone needs to stand beside them!

David Eubanks you have blamed the victim here not the perpetrator. You have the responsibility to correct your mistake and hold the student responsible for his actions.

The teacher should not have been fired for having them on her own personal phone. No one would ever have seen them had the student not taken the phone and shared them on social media.

I guess students can do anything they want to teachers these days and never suffer any consequences. As for the interim superintendent, the parents of this school district should make sure he never becomes the permanent superintendent.

Her phone, the student knew that and still stole it. She should be re-instated and receive a monetary settlement from the school and from the parents of the thief !

I'm a teacher. If one of my students went through my phone and forwarded pictures I took for my husband to his fellow students, then I got fired for it, I would not only sue the crap out of the student, but also the school. This straight up ridiculous, victim-blaming, bullsh*t should never be tolerated.

Blaming the victim of a crime for being victimized, and then depriving them of a livelihood because of somebody else's criminal actions, is a second crime. Restore Ms. Arthur's job and discipline both the student and the administration for dropping the ball in this case. Our voices are NOT insignificant.

David Eubanks and bureaucrats like him are the problems in this country. Common senses are gone, and good people are getting hurt. Impeach and fire David Eubanks.

She should have been more careful but the boy is at fault. Nude pictures are on most every phone in America. At the very least the boy should be expelled according to as school rules dictate.
