Those 16 yo thief is the one who need to be punished

She is a wonderful teacher that deserves her job back. She loved her students and her job

the 16 yo has committed the crime of theft of her property: the phone, the picture, and also the crime of sexual harassment against the teacher and bullying against her: he must be punished accordingly. The teacher has the grounds for the case against the school for not protecting her property with a strict rules/policy and for not reacting to the harassment against her and forcing her resignation. She must be returned to work with full back pay and the student must be suspended with a restraining order against approaching her.

Blaming the teacher? Really? Evidence that we live in society which would rather tell a women what to wear and not to go out alone than teach young men how to be respectful. It really is disgraceful, even your students can see that. You are a epic failure of an educator! Kirsten High school teacher who posses boobs and a phone!

This teacher did NOTHING wrong but leave HER property on HER desk. This child/teen had NO right to violate her personal property. She deserves her JOB back and an apology. This student needs to be severely reprimanded and taught a lesson. What this School, County and Superintendent are doing is the opposite of what should happen! This feels like a great injustice to me

This is a 16-year olp person who should be held responsible for his acts, not only for the invasion of the teacher's privacy, but for the emotional and moral damage,,,stop blaming the victim, she made the MISTAKE of leaving the phone unlocked, he, on the other hand, CONSCIOUSLY and in a PREMEDITATED way took her phone and took the pictures.

This is a disgrace.

I think this is ridiculous that the teacher was fired because a pervy teen violated his teacher's privacy. Sure, she probably should've hidden those racy photos, but also, her pictures are private information, regardless if she allows students to use her phone or not.

The student needs to be punished. What he did is completely unacceptable.

It is ridiculous how a victim of bulling in this case a teacher is being punished on not the bully. If this occurred between 2 students would u punish the student who's privacy was infringed? If yes then this school board is messed. This is unfair, give this woman back her job.

The administration lied when they said that she was fired for not being there with her students during the four minute gap. She was fired because of photos. She was fired because of "image." This is ridiculous and she should be given her job back.

She did nothing wrong

This teacher needs to be reinstated immediately. She is the victim here. If she had a responsibility that requires her to be out of the room, such as monitoring the halls, then she should not be punished for leaving the class unattended for a few minutes. Besides, these are 16 year old students we're talking about. They should have the discipline and respect to behave themselves without an adult around, There is an issue here, but it is not Mrs. Arthur.

The Teacher in question has right to her privacy, and this boy took that away from her, he should be punished, not the Teacher, School Board should be ashamed that they made her resign.

A teacher should not be punished in something so criminal performed by a student.
