She shouldn't be to blame because someone invaded her privacy her property. What would the school do if her laptop was stolen from home. And some scum robbed it. Which was done with her private photos. And were put in the Internet off school ground. Would they try to fire her for having a life. She shouldn't be the one on the short end of the stick. Yet the school turned there back on they should have been with her. Student expelled or whatever. There were many deconstruction to handle this situation this wasn't one of them

I can't believe that David Eubanks has made a typical MAN decision and blamed the teacher when a student stole her private information. Now that the student has been arrested David Eubanks looks really stupid.

This is not the teachers fault, she is the victim in this incident. She needs her job back.

The kid is in the wrong, what she had on her phone was private. He invaded her privacy and should be prosecuted!!!!!!#!

This school needs to be ashamed of itself because this is victim blaming at it's finest. The teacher here didn't do a damn thing wrong. That kid is a little scumbag who needs a good ass beating from his parents. What an absolute turd of a kid and of a school. You should all be ashamed of yourself

Ridiculous. She was the victim. If a student steals from a teacher or administrator they should automatically be expelled. Future criminal.

It's not her fault that the child went through her personal business.

This is disgusting. Educators have lives too.

This is victim blaming at its worst, and the school administration should be ashamed for allowing it.

I'm not saying that the teacher wasn't wrong to leave her phone out on her desk, HOWEVER for the school to not inflict any kind of punishment on the student who stole the image and distributed is just adding to what is wrong with youth in our country... I am a teacher myself and if my phone is not in my pocket (as my school does not have an intercom system so that is how I communicate with the front office) then it is locked in my desk because yes, my students have tried to use my phone to take pictures when it was left out. Many of my students act as if there is never any consequence for their actions... The way this situation was handled reinforces that idea... It is unacceptable that the administration hasn't disciplined this student.

Punishing the victim of a crime is wrong. Mrs. Arthur should not be punished because of the bad choice, criminal act, made by one of her students.

Leigh Anne really wasn't the person in the wrong here. Her student invaded her privacy and then may have committed a crime. She should have her job back.

This teacher did nothing wrong. Her desk is her personal space and the student should not have invaded her privacy.

This is absurd, the teacher did NOT authorize the distribution NOR did she pass out the photos. this is invasion of privacy.
