Teachers have the right to have a private life, just like everyone else.

Everyone has the right to privacy, the student is in the wrong not the teacher.

This teacher had her private life violated. She is the one who should have been supported in this incident.

I do think that a suspension is in order for leaving an unlocked phone on a desk. She should not have been fired. The student should be suspended if the police find evidence he did this .

Teacher did nothing wrong. The student on the other hand illegally upload the photos to hurt the teacher and should be charged for revenge porn.

The little brat is now a criminal. Press charges against him! This teacher should sue your ass off. (And his too!)

I don't know anything about David Eubanks except for the way he's acted in this incident; but I'm convinced he's a heartless cad, who has no business in any position of responsibility - especially in education. The school board should take steps to dismiss him immediately and re-hire the victimized teacher, Leigh Ann Arthur.

The interim superintendent shows poor judgement and obviously does not have have what it takes to be in a position of authority.

This is outrageous. I hope the district ends up having to pay an enormous legal settlement. I further hope that the superintendent is forced to resign.

He must accept the accountability and consequences of his actions. The superintendent of the school must as well; he has more or less given his permission to students to violate other people's privacy.

I am gobsmacked by the superintendent's overreaction! Why is the victim being punished?

The school administrators should be fired and the teacher reinstated. What has been done to her is an outrage.
