I don't even live in the same state as this woman but I've read her story multiple times and I truly feel bad for her. Stay strong.

UPDATE: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The South Carolina student who allegedly took his teacher’s cell phone and shared naked pictures of her with classmates was charged on Friday. The 16-year-old, whose teacher Leigh Anne Arthur was forced to resign as a result of the ordeal, is facing computer crimes and aggravated voyeurism counts, according to WSPA-TV. The aggravated voyeurism charge comes from the boy allegedly copying and sharing Arthur’s pictures, while the computer crime is in connection with him gaining access to her cell phone without permission.

Get rid of Eubanks. He makes S. C. look bad.

Unbelievable. The United States is gone as we knew it. Hope she gets a lawyer and sues the school corporation for millions of dollars.

Reinstate Ms. Arthur, with compensation for damages. Fire the Superintendent. Make the student (thief) mow her yard on a weekly basis until he finishes college.

Situations like this are destroying America. I vote to fire the superintendent. God bless this teacher.

Mr Eubacks is wrongly blaming the victim Mrs Arthur and passing moral judgement on having private pictures on ones phone. Had Mrs Arthur been a male teacher Mr Eubacks would have backed the teacher and punished the student. Sad. I hope Mrs Arthur sues the school blind.

Absolutely appalling that she has copped the blame for this. The student is responsible for his actions, not the teacher.

Another reason why high quality people are not entering the profession and great teachers are leaving. Teachers get no respect.

Eubanks is an embarrassment to his profession, how does he handle rape cases?

I'm a teacher and the superintendent is clearly "blaming the victim" and responding to "Bible Belt" Baptists who think it's wrong for a female to take sexy pics of herself-or teach kids. In states like New York or California..we're not idiots who think such stupid things. My advice to Mrs. Arthur is to move her teaching career to a more progressive state-where she will make MUCH more in salary than S. Carolina. It's a no-brainer. Don't let the hicks down there ruin your teaching career!

This lady seems to be a great teacher and whom the school were lucky to have. I wish her all the best and hope that the student will learn a valuable life lesson from this. She has forgiven him and that takes strength of character. The school won't reinstate her judging by their attempts to discredit her work ethics so all I can say is... ANY school is lucky to have her.... This school doesn't deserve teachers like leigh.

David Eubanks actions reflect his attempt at political correctness in an effort to further his career which clearly backfired and exposed his lack of good judgement and common sense. Reinstate Mrs. Arthur, hopefully she will return. We desperately need teachers like this who care and spend their own money on material for their students. The interim superintendent needs to quickly be replaced before he does further damage and waste more taxpayer money.

It's not her fault. Suspend the student.
