The teaacher has an expectation of privacy, and I am shocked and saddened that the Superintendent so causally accepts that the teacher was wrong and the the student was "OK" in doing what he did.

How can you let this child yes child do this and the teacher is at fault? Kids these days have no respect for adults and you are showing them that they can get away with anything. Bring the teacher back she has no fault in what this devious child did to her.

She should have her job back and the student should be disciplined.

This is ridiculous! She is obviously a great teacher if her students are standing united together fighting for what they want. I would say, that right there shows how much of an impact she makes with them. Not all teachers accomplish that.

The school was negligent in not ensuring adequate staff to babysit the 16 y.o., whose parents should also be prosecuted for neglect/ not teaching their son to respect the belongings and privacy of others. Teachers need breaks between classes, as well. Why did the school not have staff available between classes to ensure teachers get breaks? This teacher did nothing wrong.

Another case of blaming the victim?
Mrs Arthur did nothing wrong. The juvenile delinquent is the criminal offender here.

Reinstate this teacher. The events that unfolded do l not warrant her dismissal. Has this instructor not gone through enough. In the engineering classes I took we followed the honor code.

I really hope she gets her job back or gets a new one. An INNOCENT TEACHER should NOT have to pay for what an ENTITLED STUDENT did to her!! Stop victim blaming!!

Eubanks and the school district should take a look at the fact that Mrs. Arthur had no "intent" to let this student use her phone. Mrs. Arthur also never had the "intent" to let the pictures be made public. If the student was a decent person with good character, he would apologize to Mrs. Arthur and demand that she get her job back. The student made a stupid decision. Mrs. Arthur is now paying the price of being a victim multiple times! Her personal phone was accessed without her permission, her nude photos were shared without her consent and now she has no job and must endure a public trial. Wow! Eubanks, if this was your daughter, would you be reacting the same way?
Wow. Punish the victim.
