Do what's right and stand up for your teacher.

This woman's privacy was violated, and she's being punished for it. Claims that it's her fault because of a very common oversight are specious and wrong. He stole her phone, that's where the wrong is.

David Eubanks is a disgrace of a human being. Keep your head high Ms. Arthur.

This should be a lesson learned event not a career ender. The student was the one in the wrong, but a simple passcode lock could have prevented the entire incident.

The situation was handled improperly by the superintendent. His continued defamation of the teacher's character in the press is inappropriate.

Not making children responsible for their actions is exactly why the world has created an entire generation of entitles brats. If my son did this he would be punished regardless of the schools decision.

The leadership that thought firing this teacher was sound reasoning shouldn't be in charge of children's educations.

Firing the victim of multiple criminal acts is really not the right thing to do.

Are you kidding me? If this teacher is as good as she is reported to be, this is a no-brainer! Do the right thing superintendent! When she returns, host an assembly for all students. Bring this issue right out into the open with everyone and allow this lady and everyone else to return to normalcy! Simply put, "stuff happens!" Do the right thing and move on! Good teachers are too hard to find so when you've got one, keep her (or him)!

The one who should be expelled is the principal. This is not a child it's a predator and the judicial system is always making excuses for them.

The teacher's privacy was violated and the student is guilty of intentionally sharing sexually explicit content with minors. Could the teacher have taken extra precaution? Absolutely, but that doesn't excuse the actions of the student any more than me leaving my door unlocked while I go check my mail excuses a robber for breaking into my house and taking what he wishes. When a malicious student violates someone's privacy, then proceeds to expose minors to sexually explicit material, that student needs to be held accountable for his actions and the victim of his actions ought to be protected. Superintendent David Eubanks' blaming the victim calls into question his ability to lead the district with sound judgment.

Mrs. Arthur did not have to loose her job over something this student did.

The student should have never touched her phone in the first place!

This is absurd. The victim of a felony crime is being punished because she was victimized!
