Punishin. Good teachers for truth? Shameful. You should work together to support parents in their decisions tegarding their own children. They are not your children! Respect parental rights and do the right thing for your students. Let this man teach.

The administration needs to get its act together. The teacher clears up confusion on a rumor, does not dissuade kids from taking the test, and he is fired? Really makes you wonder who is running that school.

We are losing sight of one of the key responsibilities of our teachers-guiding the students to make informed decisions with as much correct info as possible. People immigrate to America to escape this sort of treatment in their homelands. People still think of America as the land of justice and opportunity. How sad that we are very quickly becoming the land of uninformed citizens, controlled by corporate greed, and educated by businessmen instead of teachers.
