Both of these people are very important to this school just like every other teacher and person who is involved with this school. I just don’t understand why the principal, who literally started this school, who has been at the school for 11 years, is being moved.

Mr Groce and Mr Kimmer have done their respective jobs to the best of their ability for more years than most of us can comprehend. I'm thankful that they were both around while I was attending, but what they both deserve now more than anything is rest. Things change and people move on, thats part of life. The YEC will endure, let's have some more faith in the next generation of teachers at the YEC and appreciate those who've moved on to bigger and better things.

Early college has been a wounderful thing for my family. Mr Kimmer and Mr Groce both have been there since the beginning and have been very large contributors to its success. Why would you want to destroy a good thing!

These kids have found a cause to all bind together and work towards. In the words of my daughter when she found this petition, all the wolf teams came together and are now 1 big wolf team fighting to keep their Alpha wolf. Proud of you kids for coming together for what you care about. ❤️

I am a graduate of the Early College. I am NOT signing this. They are CHOOSING to go to YSA and SHS. These are 2 of the LOWEST preforming schools in the Country. They are trying to fix these schools, not destroy ours.

I am seriously upset with Yadkin County for even considering this. He has made the early college what it is today and moving him is absurd.

They are an essential part to the way we work. Mr. Groce is the smiling face that radiates through the school and Mr. Kimmer is our brave alpha Wolf in our pact. They make our lives easier even though we may at times make their lives harder, but they persist. They are not just a teacher and principal, they are our family.

They are so good to me and you. This is what Yadkin Early College is about. The unity that we have as a family. We are NOT letting Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce leave us easily. I respect Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce's choice and the reasoning behind it, but I do not see Starmount High School benefiting that much. Can they really heal all of the druggies, people smoking, and perverts at that high school? No. Only Jesus can heal that. Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce have always been kind to me and talked to me every day. They are part of my support group about my depression and anxiety. I sat beside Mr. Groce in lunch and during class, and he is like no other. If Mr. Groce leaves, I will never be able to tell people "you is kind, you is smart, and you is important." Mr. Groce tells us that, and I started telling other people that. When I tell people that, I will always be sad about Mr. Groce leaving. I will never be able to say "Lord, sweet Jesus, it's a fire" because it reminds me of Mr. Groce. My best friend, Will, goes to Starmount High School and likes Mr. Hemric and would be really sad if Mr. Hemric left and a new principal came. My youth minster, Travis, had Mr. Garrett as his principal when he was at Forbush High School. Travis said that he always felt comfortable talking to Mr. Garrett, and he kept a Bible on his desk every day. I respected Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce's descision and wasn't going to sign the petition until I remembered the good times that I had with my classmates this year and how many friends I made. We are united at Yadkin Early College. Everyone is friends with everyone, and Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce established these values that will last all of us a lifetime. Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce will be deeply missed, we hope the best for them in the future. I am going to pray about the future of Yadkin Early College, because they will need some good prayers without Mr. Kimmer and Mr. Groce. And, remember, Mr. Groce believes in the power of prayer. It is a bad way for

Your comment would be sound if the staff had ever actually notified we, the students, of what happened. The students deserve to hear from the teachers that they are choosing to leave and are not being forced. Regardless, the students do have a right to protect our school from having two of its valuable resources being taken from us. Without these two individuals, we would not have come to learn as much as we have today. You should stand up for the students, not against them.

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.
