I know how much it affected the kids when he didn't come back is principal and I think having someone with his attitude needs to be in our school system and we need to get him back as soon as possible to make trempealeau Elementary great once again

Lynn is my brother and I have heard nothing but good from people that have worked with him while he was teaching at the GET school district and his time as Principal at the Trempealeau Elementary. Parents of children that have gone to or are going to Trempealeau Elementary have said he is one of the best they have seen. Children love him as he takes time for them instead of sitting in his office thinking of only himself with paper work. He was seen interacting with students out on the playground playing kickball for example. He is very professional and has a heart of gold. His priorities are always on top and most of all he is a fun loving guy. I am proud of him for who he is and is a fantastic father and husband.

I believe transparency in the process, and open-ness regarding what the objections to Mr. Halverson might be, are important.

I know Lynn Halverson personally and as the principal of Trempealeau Elementry. He is a stand up individual and a great role model for my children. He has done a great job in the past and should at the very least be granted consideration for the position.

I'm very much interested in a transparent process in this selection of a new principal for GET elementary. Why is it that someone who has done the job before is now unable to be considered?

He is the most professional and caring individual you could ever ask for regarding the position. It would be a shame for his talents to be ignored.

I am a past student of Mr. Halverson and I can say that he was honestly one of the best teachers I had thoughout my time at GET. Choosing to discount his application will be Tremealeau Elementary's loss. I urge you to reconsider, respectfully.

I worked as a para in the G-E-T school district over 25 years, retiring last year. I worked in special Ed and helped our kids with their tech Ed classes which Mr. Halverson taught. I can honestly say he is not only a great teacher but also goes way beyond. He helped me no matter how many times I had to ask. Every student was treated equally. You would be doing a great injustice by not allowing him to apply for the job of Principle of Trempealeau Elementary. He did a wonderful job when he was there before.

I will have two children at Trempealeau Elementary next year. I was happy to hear that Lyn wanted to come. He was professional and worked well with the families and children. He also knows the staff, students, and families among the district. I am sadden to hear that he was not even given an interview. We teach our children to be respectful and put things aside, as adults we should do the same. Please bring Mr Henderson back..
