Because of this amazing teacher I would have not made it through high school along with many other students.

One of my favorite classes in high school EVER was Mr. Bastian's Geography/Holocaust class. He is so passionate about his students and what he teaches. It would be a shame to lose such raw talent, passion and intelligence.

Robert Bastian is one of ACS' finest. He is passionate about students doing well, and they do. I got a 99 on my global regents! Why people are so soft-skinned these days, I will never know. If I did something wrong in school, I accepted my punishment and moved on... Mr. Bastian has my complete support.

He was the most caring Teacher I ever had there in High School. Just like the movie "Lean on Me", Mr. Bastian was like the principal Joe Clark. He pushed some of us to do better because he could see the potential we all had...even if we didn't believe it ourselves. Copying the words of his own students..."Free Mr. Bastian!"

Mr. Bastian was one of my favorite teachers throughout high school. He was always willing to help and go above and beyond to help his students.

He is a great teacher. I had so much respect for him I wasn't the best student to teach but he showed me respect and showed me he cared which really meant something to me.

As a student who never excelled in History, Mr. Bastian was able to teach and help me understand better. Although he was never my coach, my brother has wanted to play for him as long as I can remember. Next year my brother will finally be able to play for him as an 8th grader!

Mr. Bastian by far is one of the best teachers at ACS!! To lose him would be a great disservice to our children. All three of my children have loved him and his class. My husband was one of his students too. He really cares about his students and about their education!!

I took all of his classes in high school they were one of my favorites! I still see him in the summers and always have a great interaction he is a great teacher and person!
