That’s what happens, companies just don’t want us older employees who have all the knowledge, they hire someone younger and don’t care about the years of experience and knowledge. In my eyes this is a case of discrimination!! I’ll be watching Channel 12 from now on.

Just because a woman is younger doesn't mean she's more valuable or smarter. Youth doesn't always sell, just like sex. What you're doing is bad publicity for the older people who actually watch news.

No one should be replaced because of their age if she's doing the job the way she's supposed tob he The job should be hers until she wants to retire.

Sinclair has no idea what a great meteorologist Kelly Bates truly is. Sinclair needs to realize how many people will stop viewing their syndication if they don't bring Kelly back. YOUR LOSS BIG TIME SINNYCLAIIR!

So saddened by this decision. Since Sinclair and Comcast took over ch10 has changed. Maybe Lyndsey Idaluca left for.the same.reason.

What channel 10 and Sinclair have done is disgraceful, we have been watching wjar for 25 plus years, when you got rid of Gary Lay were disgusted and now what you have done to Kelly Bates is disgraceful and disgusting and therefore we will no longer watch wjar 10 and switch to channel 12
