Kelly Bates should never be let go of her job! She is dedicated and loyal! Very nice person which is a rarity these days . Not watching anymore ….

She is the only reason we watch week end news. No more channel 10 for us.

Tell me WJAR, if Kelly were a man would we even be having this conversation? She was let go, not because of incompetence, but because of her age and her body. There are plenty of middle-aged, slightly rounded male meteorologists still working in the field - but shove a skinny young girl on camera (with 1/4 of Kelly's experience) and suddenly the pushing 50 Kelly Bates is out. Sinclaire media is disgusting.

Bring back this beautiful, talented woman and apologize. We all find it funny that the only 2 plus sized women were let go.

I have always loved Kelly, she has such a great presence. NBC-10, make her an offer that isn't insulting, may then she'll accept it.
