What was your goal in all this? Kelly Bates is a hard working, respected meteorologist. She is one of the only reasons to watch channel 10 news. We are switching channels until she comes back. If she goes somewhere else, we will follow her.

Kelly Bates was the best meteorologist NBC 10 had! She was personable, funny and excellent at her job! She was the only one whose forecast you could truly trust. It is clear that channel 10 is making huge mistakes with the female news/weather staff. Will be changing my channel!

This is terrible. She was terrific do detailed so personable so on track with the actual weather. And she was always teaching us. Always left us with something. That is a shame. What does it teach our children. Dont be the best dont do the best thats not what makes you successful.? Best of luck you were amazing.

My husband and I were shocked to hear that Kelly is no longer with NBC 10. We look forward to seeing Kelly on the weekends. She does a great job, reporting the weather and she has a wonderful personality. She has been there for a long time and it is a shame that she is gone. If that is truly the reason she was let go then NBC 10 doesn't deserve her!

Bring back Kelly Bates. I love to watch her weather reports. She is the best you have in that role. I will stop watching channel 10 if Kelly Bates is not given her position back. Shame on you.

Kelly is the award winning, most trusted, weather person in RI. My household watches her reports every day. Rhode Islander's discuss what "Kelly's forecast was" on any given day. Please reinstate her. There are a variety of alternative channels to watch, we have chosen Channel 10 for Kelly's forecasts.
