It's abusive what Sinclair Company has done to Kelly Bates. I've been a viewer for many years, but I will definitely won't watch any of the NBC programming and will be check who is sponsoring the channel and stop buy from those sponsors. Shame on you Sinclair Broadcasting.

Your news programming has become a ridiculous joke. Kelly Bates gave us clear, concise weather reporting that we could all understand. We don’t need these long, lengthy, “Look at what I know diatribes every time!!!!” Kelly is a true professional and doesn’t spend her air time flirting and being just plain silly on air.

Not only is Kelly Bates a GREAT meteorologist, but she is Southern New England’s weather sweetheart! But for me, it’s the premise of the younger, new girl, with the heavy makeup, just sweeps in and takes her place?!? What happened to seniority?? What happened to a bigger contract for winning the best of RI meteorologist contest??!! I WOULD BET, DAMN WELL, A MAN WAS BEHIND THIS DECISION! You, sir, should be fired! And replaced with a younger version of you and your high horse! Smh! Channel 12 for the WIN! They’ll stay my channel unless something changes, quickly!

You do not need to be a certain size to do her job! Shame on you WJAR! What kind of example are you setting for our youth? Switching to another channel for my news!

Dumbest Decision Channel 10 could ever make! We all love Kelly Bates - I hope another network is smart enough to pick her up because if so, that is who I will be watching!
