The contract offer must have been inconsistent with previous contracts she had with Sinclair. Bring her back!

Her dismissal is an outrage. She is a cherished part of the local broadcast family, and a standard in our house. A little respect for her service and seniority--to say nothing of her expertise and fine manner--is in order. Bring her back.

Kelly was not only an amazing meteorologist but had an incredible personality she was so down to earth and sweet not just on TV I am lucky enough to have a grocery shop with her at Dave’s market of course…… always genuinely so nice when people would talk to her I’ll never forget one winner my two-year-old ran right up to her after I prompted him to ask her why it wasn’t snowing she was so sweet of him. Shame on your channel 10 for not renewing her contract, she is an amazing meteorologist and more importantly has an amazing heart that comes through on TV she’s just a real Genuine and nice

I have already stopped watching Channel 10 for news. There is no reasonable explanation for letting someone as good as Kelly Bates get away.

Kelly Bates is an excellent meteorologist. There was no logical reason to let her go. She is bright, affable, informative and intelligent. She represents the "woman", not some "Barbie Doll! I am disgusted with the way the ultra right conservative Sinclair Company has taken over Channel 10 and espouses "fake news"! I have switched to watching Channel 12.

The way that Sinclair broadcasting has changed this channel is awful.. you have lost me after many decades...Kelly Bates was great and she was given the worst shifts as a result of age and weight discrimination.

I love watching Kelly Bates do the weather. I was a letter carrier for many years and counted on her. She was very accurate and has a great personality. It's very disappointing to hear that she was let go

The person that should have been let go is the same person that gave Kelly a crap contract.

I Love seeing Kathy Bates on the Weather she is personable and always has a smile on her face. We don't need another Barbie or Ken bring her back.

I really can't believe you "let her go" . . honestly, WHY ???
Someone should "let you go" and bring in someone smarter than you who knows and understands what you viewers want!!
