Enjoyed her precise weather reports. She's been a part of the team for a long time to just let her go!! Hope Kelly finds a better position.

Please bring her back! She is appreciated and respected by the community and your decision reeks of ageism, sexism and size discrimination. We shall NEVER watch again if the station’s management is so callous and stinks of pure sexism. Do the right thing and renew her contract. Not everyone has to be young and thin!

Here we are in the 21st century and we are still discriminating against one another... It’s a shame we live in a society where skills and professionalism don’t matter……Very shallow. Kelly obviously loved her job and had no intention on leaving, she did so because of how she was being treated with the manipulation of her work schedule and such. They made it obvious to her they wanted her out, that’s why she resigned. Shame on Chanel 10, you knew exactly what you were trying to do. Don’t act like your shocked this happened. If you truly didn’t want her to leave, you would not of let her go. You would have tried to convince her to stay. I enjoyed watching Kelly. She was knowledgeable and upbeat, and just a pleasure to listen to everyday…..I can’t watch Chanel 10 anymore knowing this. I’m totally disgusted!!!!!!

No one should buy from advertisers on channel 10
they should be boycotted and people, should buy elsewhere.
Forget buying from the Cardi’s who are big supporters of
channel 10.

Kelly Bates is a gem- experienced and professional. Ageism and weightism is apparently at play in letting her go. Bad call. Clearly no one at in "administration" knows how Kelly Bates is beloved and respected.
