Loved her work and her demeanor. Such a pleasant person and actually looked forward to her broadcasts. Boycotting your news station henceforth. Bad move.

Kelly is a great meteorologist. It’s a shame that WJAR doesn’t value its employees. In this day and age! Women always have to fight twice as hard. Done watching channel 10

I too will not be watching NBC 10 or following on social media.
The truth needs to come out about why Kelly did not renew her contract.

Kelly Bates is amongst a small group of very special, exceptional and professional personalities on TV. Her weather reporting was delivered with enthusiasm and accuracy. She will be sorely missed. She should never have been removed/fired.

Kelly is a true meteorologist and my husband and I have enjoyed her and the accuracy she bring with reporting the weather. Enough pretty young skinny big boob women!!! it is a poor example for women to have to see over and over again. Back to CBS!!!!

I only watched this station because of Kelly Bates. She was hands down the best meteorologist on any of the local stations, and the fact that Sinclair let her go to replace her with younger, in-experienced, and slimmer 'weather girls' is shameful. I won't be watching this station until and unless they bring Kelly back.
