I’ve been watching Kelly Bates since I moved to RI. 21 years later I want to still be watching her. Shame on you WJAR for treating one of your stars like this. She’s a total asset. So get your head out of your ass and put her back where she deserves to be!

Have watched Kelly Bates for a long time and read her reports on WJAR weather on line site. She is thorough and professional, with a bit of fun once in a while! She delivers reports in a calm manner. I will miss her and hope she will be on another local program VERY SOON! Best to you Kelly!

The only reason I don't watch Channel 12 every time is weekends for Kelly

Kelly was always smiling and even delivered the bad weather with something positive at the end of her segment. My favorite meteorologist of any on TV right now. Do not let her go!

I have watched channel 10 news and programming for nearly 40 years. I refuse to continue watching unless Ms. Bates and other hardworking local news personnel are treated with the dignity and respect they have earned as trusted voices in our community. Sinclair's ownership of WJAR has been a black eye for Rhode Island news.

WJAR has slid downhill with their biased Sinclair content. Although this is unrelated, one would think they might want to maintain some goodwill by retaining a fine meteorologist.

Bring her back! I watch nothing but channel 10, mostly for the people. She is ONE of those people. I may need to rethink this and change channels.

Kelly had the best personality and was a very intelligent woman. We want Kelly back as she was the best.
