i want kelly back. she is the best person . inside and out she is a lovely , caring, woman alive. whatever channel 10 did to her boy did they mess up do not like that show any longer. watch channel 12. you guys are so wrong.

I absolutely LOVED Kelly Bates! She made my day every time I watched her do the weather. It always bothered me that she was not on that often and I was hoping that would change. Now it has and not for the better! I will probably watch Eyewitness news now instead! UNLESS WJAR sees sense and brings her back!

I thought channel 10 was one big family...from what I surmise..I guess they want just models...not meteorologists..it makes me wonder why Lynsey Idaluca left..probably pushed out too.

We met Kelly Several years ago when we were doing a auction for channel 36 RI PBS where both my husband Dan and I were volunteers for several years. Kelly was one of our guest auctioneers, she was a. Very polite professional, caring woman, it was a honor to have met her for she's a wonderful woman.

Haven't watched the station since this happened. I was horrified to learn what happened. They should have offered her a better deal and more respect. I don't even want to know about her replacement. I'm waiting to hear where Kelly winds up next because that's where I'll go for my weather forecasts, you betcha.

Always loved Kelly Bates, she is a natural, lovely and excellent meteorologist. Explains in simpler terms such as we find helpful. Anthony is great too but Kelly has the charm & charisma.
