Bring Back Kelly Bates

I will no longer watch WJAR News 10 unless Kelly Bates is returned to her position at WJAR.

Kelly is a dedicated person .her size gender etc should never play a part in and decision . She is much better then Anthony the weather man. Meet her requests . She deserves it. You won't find a better person . I've been a loyal follower yo channel ten for 40 yrs . I will not be any longer after the stunt your staff has pulled with her as well as others .. like dilusha (spelling) ... what is wrong with you people ? There I'd more to life then money guys . Get your head outta your asses do what's right .. VERY DISSATISFIED

I am going to start watching other news channels unless she is reinstated.

Kelly Bates was an exceedingly knowledgeable and professional TV weather meteorologist on WJAR - NBC 10. It is abhorrent that this station would treat her so cavalier. Since Sinclair Broadcast purchased WJAR, it seems to be less empathetic and trying to push the far-right mantra. Channel 12 is looking more “home town” to us.

Bring back Kelly! She is an inspiration to seasoned Professional women.

Please bring back Kelly. Her explanation of what is happening with the weather are the best.

WE MISS KELLY

Kelly Bates was by far the best weather forecaster in the area. She was a pleasure to watch every weekend. Not watching WJAR any more.

Bring back Kelly Bates! Stop being cheap pricks! Time to “Turn to 12”

Until today, we were unaware of Kelly Bates’ departure from WJAR and thought that she might be on vacation or medical leave. Her termination from what we thought was a respectable and fair news station was a shock! As an experienced and dedicated meteorologist, Kelly Bates explained the sometimes complicated weather scene in easy to understand terms. She truly is one who put viewers at ease without unnecessary sensationalism. Sadly, the move by WJAR to force Kelly Bates out by obviously shabby and unfair treatment lends irrefutable evidence to the character of those at the helm of channel 10. Very simply, my wife and I, along with many other fans of Kelly Bates, implore the powers that be to FULLY reinstate her to WJAR’s weather team WITH seniority and in the process, remove the black eye they have earned! Until that time, we will move on to another network.

thought Kelly might be on vacation, just found out what happened- I will not watch NBC10 news till she is back

Bring Kelly back! Give her the hours she deserves!

Bring back Kelly Bates full time...unfair to relegate her to Part time and weekends at that !!! Rated top female meteorologist by an observant R.I. Paper...give her back her usual time slots and Kelly Love can find employment elsewhere or take the position Kelly Bates is currently handling.

Kelly is greatly missed, and channel 10 is a lesser station without her.

Kelly was the best. Now I am watching channel 12 news. Not the same but I am getting used to it. I miss Mario but that's about it. Kelly was a hard worker that was underappreciated. She needs to come back!!!

Bring back Kelly!

Kelly is like the Channel 10 "weather swiss army knife" - she's there when you need her most. This is a real loss to the community and to Storm Team 10!

She is the best and she always got pushed aside. Wake up

Kelly Bates is simply the best. She really got a rotten deal after her many years of dedicated service!

Bring her back - she’s smart and fun. So what if she’s older - so am I, so are you
