Give Kelly Bates a decent contract worthy of her talent and dedication! She's earned it, and the viewers love her.

We need her back! She was so down to earth and pleasant. Pretty faces just don't do it! She handled her job from the heart and that's what I like!

It is a shame that WJAR does not recognize the gem that is Kelly Bates. Her broadcasts are always very professional, down to earth and relatable. Please reconsider your decision.

Shame on you Sinclair Broadcasting. You just let the most caring and knowledgeable meteorologist walk out your door. My TV was always on channel 10 news/weather. Now I tune to channel 12. I hope channel 12 hires Kelly. Prepare fir your ratings to drop and it is your own poor decision.

Offer Kelly Bates a reasonable contract. Obviously, she has a following. Don’t squish her off to just the weekends, either. Full-time if she wants it; reasonable pay. I will not watch u’r station for news until she returns. Blunder, on Sinclair.
Shame on ch 10
