Kelly Bates has been part of the WJAR family for 17 years. She has been active in the community and a credit to the station. Always smiling. I would look forward to seeing her. Please reconsider your decision.

Love Kelly Bates, her humility, honesty and normalcy, for lack of a better word, were refreshing and she will be missed .Get her back on! She was one of the reasons I would Turn to 10. Not the same knowing she's not part of your "family". Do what's right, please and hire her back with a Welcome Back, Kelly party.

Bring back Kelly. Don't hide behind your contention that she chose not to renew her contract. We are all smarter than that.

We love Kelly & have missed her with fewer appearances. We hated to think she was being pushed out but now it's out there. Shame on Sinclair. You lost a classy professional and a household of viewers!

I love Kelly, so down to Earth, so real, so intelligent, professional, positive, fun and just downright good, the real deal, unlike so many others in this profession. What a colossal mistake to marginilize her contribution with such a lackluster contract. I've already turned the channel.

Tough to grow older & be replaced by younger women that always dress as if they’re going out to a night on the town.

Miss Kelly and her sense of humor. Not crazy about direction WJAR is taking. News anchors who can’t string sentences together or who are unfamiliar with local pronunciations. AND, a news anchor who ,in our family, is known as “Betty Breathless”. You can figure that out.
Goodbye WJAR.
Bye the way. Sync up your sound to
reporters lips.

Kathy is the most knowledgeable and accurate meteorologist. She presented the weather very well. There are other channels I’ll be watching.

I will now boycott Channel 10 - already uninstalled their app on my phone, used to always watch that channel for the local news.

She was the best meteorologist channel 10 had. Why would you let a ray of sunshine lady who gives an accurate, detailed forecast the boot?? It obviously isn’t about her personality or competence. I won’t be “turning to 10” anymore. I’m so annoyed!

Big mistake letting her go. She is the best meteorologist at WJAR. I’ve already stopped watching the news on this station. I won’t go back to watching news on channel 10 until you bring her back on
