I am so done with media trying to do away with personalities that are not young with perfect bodies. They obvously do not know who is actually watching and listening to their tv or radio stations. It is not the young people. Now they are turning off the those of us that do watch by eliminating our representation. I want to get my information from mature trusted people. Bring Kelly back.

This is pretty blatant ageism and weight discrimination by this disgusting station and it’s managment company Sinclair. I not only won’t watch WJAR, but I’ll avoid your advertisers as well- until you bring Kelly back at her FULL CONTRACT.

Kelly Bates is the most reliable source for weather predictions I have ever seen. Bring her back or lose my family to channel 6 or 12

Bring Kelly Bates back. You have lost my entire family as viewers of WJAR. You have made a terrible decision in firing her. Do the right thing and bring back this amazing, asset to your station. Voted best meteorologist just recently and weeks later you let her go? Don't hide behind your real reasons of letting her go, step forward, and fix your abomination of a decision. If you truly care about your broadcasting station and your audience you will hear the orderly complaints along with these signatures and bring Kelly Bates back!!!
