Kelly Bates has been an exceptional meteorologist and news personality since I have been watching WJAR 10, which is what I mostly exclusively watch. Although I enjoy and learn from most others in this department at this station, she absolutely ranked at the top and continuing or even enhancing her contract to me would be a smart move and appreciated by many RI viewers I believe. Thank you for this consideration.

I have watched Kelly for years. She is a good egg. Please rehire her. I am sick of the girls in sleevless tight dresses on the air. Kelly may not be young but she knows her stuff.

Kelly Bates is your best weather forecaster. Hire her back ASAP at an appropriate salary and put her on here often or I will change channels for my local news and weather.

It’s shameful that this is how a beloved and faithful employee is treated after such a long career in one place.

Kelly Bates is, without a doubt, the most factual and straight forward meteorologist in RI. No drama, no BS, no alarmist prediction-just the facts and her analysis. Please arrive at a fair contract for both and BRING HER BACK!

Pathetic. Disgraceful. Abysmal. Abhorrent. Devious. Thoughtless. Insipid. Myopic. Dishonorable. Shameful. Reprehensible. Ostentatious. Reprehensible. What's next? Are you going to stab her in the back...call the police...and get her arrested for carrying a concealed weapon? Subterfuge.
