this is a good point because the thirty minutes will effect after school activities not to mention that we will be getting home later which will mess up our normal lives. some of these people need to get to bed at a certain time or they will not feel refreshed in the morning. This also means that we have less time to have to ourselves. I say this because we already have a lot of home work so we have to stay up later which means less time to ourselves. I highly recommend that you bring back Intervention. I also agree that you should have just checked that it was OK with at least a few GSMST students before you made this irrational decision and angered the entire student body, and not to mention many teachers are upset with this idea of the rolling schedule. I think that for the sake of the school and the happiness of the student body and some teachers, you should bring back Intervention, and do something else with the extra time. I would suggest that you just add the thirty minutes to first period Monday, then second period Tuesday then third period Wednesday (etc). This would be a better alternative to the idea than the rolling schedule. this would make most if not all of the people in the school happy.

GIVE INTERVENTION AT LEAST NEXT YEAR. WE NEED INTERVENTION OR GSMST WILL NO LONGER BE THE #3 SCHOOL INT THE NATION. BRING BACK INTERVENTION. WE NEED THIS FOR STUDYING AND FOR EXTRA HELP IN THE CLASSES WE ARE FAILING. THIS ALSO MEANS THAT SOME PEOPLE CAN'T COME BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL SO THIS IS THE ONLY TIME TO GET REVIEW

Removing intervention was just based out of a opinion, and there is no good reason that it should be removed.

Intervention was time to catch up on incomplete assignments. Adding 30 minutes to the school day puts more pressure on us in addition to the fact that we get home later. We are now getting more work, with less time to work. We are the ones up the earliest and home the lastest and with the most work. Now we just have more. The administration without consulting students was irrational decision . A big change like this should at least involve a few students . As someone previously said us the students know how stressful and pressuring it is, not the administrators.

I believe we need intervention back. Intervention gives you time and a little break from school. Intervention is a time to work with your teachers if you're failing or just chill and hang out with friends. Without this time, student won't get a break. Instead of ending intervention we should do make a compromise in order to keep intervention, but still have this roll along period.
Hey guys this is a fake thing you know that right XD here is the real one

I agree that we should have intervention; however, adding four extra minutes is not allowed. It would be nice to keep intervention as a twenty minute period then have a twenty eight minutes rolling period.

Since we have a load of schoolwork and possible after school activities, I believe that we should keep this small amount of time to give us the opportunity to socialize. In addition, this time is also used toward academic help. If this was to be taken away, students and teachers would have to stay after school for academic assistance instead of being assigned a time for help on their courses.

The way they're going to 'redistribute' intervention time into the schedule is pretty weak and not well-thought-out; don't fix what's not broken!

I can't believe that the administration is making decisions without giving the students and the teachers a voice. We are the ones going through GSMST and know what needs to be done not them. The teachers are the ones teaching us and know what they need to do to catch us up. Intervention is one of the best things about this school. Students who are struggling get the help the need and the students aren't get a break to forget about the stress of being at one of the most challenging schools in the USA.

This plan may have been a good plan in order to make up for the missing days we had, but that doesn't mean the freedom of the students during school should be taken away. Intervention was a time for students that were failing classes to catch up, while students that were passing could take time to relax and talk to friends, which there is barely any chance of that in school. Without that chance, that brings more stress to the students, along with the teachers that have to spend more time teaching students, especially when some students don't need it.
