I understand not utilizing our school facilities but I am sure all the families are willing to pay a bit extra to rent court space at the U or similar venue. As far as hockey, we don't utilize the schools. If the State, MIAA and So Shore conference thinks it is safe then we should not penalize our young adults.

Let all the sports play MIAA has placed protocols in place so they could have their seasons. You don’t think these students won’t go and play for a club sport and maybe in contact with the virus that don’t have protocols as strick as the MIAA at least you will have control of these athletes. let the kids play and let them have their memories for a life time playing their sport. Go Pirates !

These kids deserve to play, they followed all the precautions and completed a Covid free fall season. Why punish them, because its easy for a Superintendent to take the easy way out and opt out. She needs to reconsider and show some faith in her students.
