While we as residents of Hull are concerned with the welfare and health of our student athletes, this seems like a shortsighted decision considering the existing facts surrounding Covid-19, and the safety precautions that have and will be taken care of if Winter sports occur.
I hope that the powers to be will reconsider and let our HS students play. The situation could always be re-evaluated if necessary.

Let the kids play. Their mental well-being is being compromised for an unknown. Take proper precautions to let the kids participate in sports. It’s a proven fact that sports and physical activities improve wellness and boost immune systems.

I am in total agreement. Our kids will now play club which puts them in contact with kids from many more towns. This shut down of Hull alone does nothing but punish our kids in our small town. Unfair and not well thought out.

Let the kids play sports. Social isolation and being sedentary is terrible for everyone. Hull has done a great job keeping COVID cases low, let them play!!
