Hoodies are an article of clothing that many love to wear to keep themselves warm in the freezing winter environment that ohio has. Bring back hoodies.

I think that hoodies should not be banned just because a couple of students can’t follow simple rules. Instead of punishing the whole school punish the few people that can’t follow the simple rules. Hoodies are the main thing worn almost everyday.

We are gonna wear them anyways. You can’t stop the whole school from wearing hoodies. We should be about to tuck the hoods in at least. There’s just gonna be a lot of detentions Liberty is a public school if you wanted to be a principal at a strict school go be a principal at Ursuline or Mooney. That’s why nobody wants to go to Liberty it’s strict and boring and authorities treat us like kids. We should be able to have phones too. We need a new principal. That would fix the problem

Banning Hoods is just going to start a bigger problem. 85 percent of the long sleeves i have are hoods, so now i have to actually go out and buy more long sleeved shirts to stay warm in a 65 degree environment, and for the staff to even think that kids aren’t going to wear their hoodies is crazy...

As a parent and an educator, I'm not convinced that hoodies pose a safety issue and that banning them will solve it. Should be simple enough for a teacher or administrator to simply say "you can't have a hood up in school" and to punish students who don't follow that basic command.

We are in school for such a long time throughout our school “career”, some of us don’t even feel comfortable to go to school because of bullies, tests, and it’s much easier to face hard things in life when your comfortable.

There literally isn't a point to banning hoodies. Liberty is just finding another way to get kids in more troubke for VERY stupid and unnecessary things. All of liberty's schools (including the elemantry) are FREEZING. FIX YOUR HEATERS OR DON'T TRY TO TAKE AWAY THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS THE KIDS WARM

I have quite a few reasons for opposing this new dress code rule. 1.) students often wear hoodies to hide any imperfections that they find to boost their self esteem, students often get bullied for their body type. 2.) some students wear hoodies to stop negative attention to themselves or to avoid being sexualized or harassed. 3.) stopping the wearing of hooded sweatshirts will NOT under any circumstances stop liberty students from wearing earbuds. Of course, I cannot make complaints without providing solutions. To fix this earbud issue I would recommend harsher punishments of those who do not follow the no earbuds without permission and no hood/hats in class rule. Being told to just remove their hood is obviously not working to stop this epidemic. All students are cleared on the policy of no hoods on school grounds and I believe that this rule goes un-enforced. I would advise teachers to give immediate detentions to ones that have hoods on in class with no exception.
