As a parent, I don't get to experience classroom holiday parties for my children. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Bring back the fun and memories!! Childhood should be fun and imaginative not serious all the time. If not holiday parties for political/religious reasons then find other creative parties not pajama and movie day lame!!! That's not memorable

All 3 of my kids had holiday parties it's not fair to them they work hard in school the parties give them something to work for but to take it,away is just plain wrong

My youngest child is being deprived of an expensive my older children received in this district. Families should have been consulted, and considering the poor decisions the central administration has made in recent weeks, I feel this should be reconsidered. We have many other cultural assemblies, celebrations and recognitions. Culturally, are we respecting those that want to celebrate holidays?

We all want our children to have more than we did as children not less. I remember how excited I was as a child for school holiday parties. I want that for my kids.

It is so sad that we take away these things of fun from our children. They are made to grow up way to fast. This makes me want to move from this area. We live in a democracy where we should have the choice, not let a few rule.

I was 100% against the pajama party at Tyler last year. And made my voice heard once I found out this was a rogue principal not district wide policy. And regardless of what the board has been told, it was NOT supported by all parents and children at Tyler. Now that it is a district wide policy, I'm happy to have my voice heard again. This is a horrible policy taking away a part of childhood. Please reinstate as our children deserve to be kids as long as possible.

Bring back fun in school. Bring back classroom parties. It's not fair to children that did it last year and maybe years before and now they're taken away.
